What Will I Learn?

The school is divided into two nine-month segments, September through May each year, with each year having a specific focus in the development of the student.

First Year – Foundations

The First Year of the Ministry School focuses on assimilating the core values of the Kingdom of God into the heart of the student and establishing each student as “Kingdom Citizen”.

This includes:

  • Cultivating fiery devotion to Jesus Christ
  • The Kingdom of God
  • Systematic Theology
  • How to Study and Interpret the Bible
  • Church History
  • Holy Spirit and Power Ministries
  • Exploring Prophetic Ministry
  • Christian Ethics
  • Healing Life’s Hurts
  • And more!

What makes the school unique is the hands-on approach to ministry and the insistence that training be practical and theological.  With that, we require students to read the entire Bible in the first year.  They will also be required to spend seven hours per week in prayer.   These values are born out of the awareness that those who serve God ought be grounded and founded in the Scriptures and live with dependence upon the Holy Spirit through prayer as the apostles of Christ did in the first century.

Along with those requirements students will receive regular personal mentoring in life skills to help the student conquer areas of weakness and grow in their strengths. They will also be given ministry opportunities and meet with national and international ministers through special ministry times.

Second Year – Internship

Second year students take the skills and core values they have learned in the first year and begin to develop their own ministry. They learn leadership principles to gain an understanding of leading people and establishing the Kingdom in the realm of society and ministry to which they are called. Whereas the first year of instruction includes a lot of teaching with some hands-on training, the second year consists of a lot of hands-on, on-the-job training with some teaching.

The second year includes:

  • Track Classes – specific training in area of interest

  • Intern with leadership within that track
